Dawson H. Ahn (Hong Ik) is a partner attorney at JKLA (Baekkyung), where he handles litigation and advisory matters across ESG, administrative, criminal, maritime, corporate, and labor law. His practice focuses in particular on ESG risk management, compliance, and governance advisory linked to corporate social responsibility and sustainable management; the prevention of and response to administrative-law violations and regulatory issues arising in dealings with government authorities; the prevention of and response to corporate-related offenses such as fraud, embezzlement, breach of trust, intellectual property infringement, unfair competition, and trade secret misappropriation; and maritime-collision matters and compliance issues under fisheries-related regulations.

After beginning his litigation practice as a Public-Service Advocate at the Korea Legal Aid Corporation, he has handled a wide range of disputes for more than a decade. Rather than viewing a matter simply in terms of winning or losing, he works to identify the dispute-resolution path that will deliver the greatest practical value to the client and to guide each engagement toward that outcome.

In recent years, he has further strengthened his capabilities in domestic and international arbitration, as well as in corporate risk management, compliance, and anti-corruption matters.
